The Barabaria horse race is another traditional event in the district. The competition is organized on 28th September at Barabaria village of Mohamdpur sub-district. The tournament was organized from 1910 onwards. 3 day long fairs and cultural shows are also organized here during this competition.

One of the major tourist attractions of this district is Raja Sitaram Ray Palace. The historic Grand Trunk Road is another one that was built by Mughal governor Sher Shah in the 15th century. This road connected many of the Mughal territories including Delhi (India), Peshawar (Pakistan), and Kabul (Afghanistan).
