Dulahazara Safari Park
Dulahajra Safari Park is a natural reserve forest at Dulahajra in Cox's Bazar district. The Safari park is situated on the east side of the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway. It is located 50 km away from Cox's Bazar city, just 10 kilometers away from Chakaria Bus stand.
There are lions, tigers, many species of deer, hanuman, bear, peacocks, wild boar, many species of birds, snakes, crocodiles, hippo, monkeys, elephants, forest cock, fishing cat, leopard in this safari park. The beautiful scenery of nature and animal wanderings can easily be enjoyed through multiple observation towers located here.
Large trees of different species and rare and medicinal plants are present in this park. The area of the Safari Park is about 900 hectares of land. Although some animals are captured in the cage, most animals in this park have lots of open spaces for wandering. For tourists, there is a restroom and dormitory in the park.
This Safari Park has also become an eco-tourism spot in Bangladesh. You can enjoy the free wildlife here. On the left side of the main gate, the description of various places in the park and a map of Bangladesh are available. This Safari Park is getting popularity day by day. In the tourism season, many tourists arrange picnics in various locations in the park.
The park is open for visitors from 9 am to 6 pm every day except for Wednesdays. Entry fee is 10 taka for adult and 5 taka for children.
