    গা ছম ছম অনুভূতি নিয়ে পাহাড়ী সুরঙ্গ পথ বেয়ে পাতালে নেমে যাওয়া কল্পনার হলেও আলুটিলার সুরঙ্গ কল্পনার কিছু নয়।নামে টিলা হলেও প্রায় হাজার ফুট উঁচু এ ভূ-নন্দন বিন্দুটি বাংলাদেশের একটি অন্যতম ব্যতিক্রমধর্মী পর্যটন স্পট। এ টিলার মাথায় দাঁড়ালে সমগ্র শহর হাতের মুঠোয় চলে আসে। শহরের ছোট খাট ভবন, বৃক্ষ শোভিত পাহাড়, চেংগী নদীর প্রবাহ ও আকাশের আল্পনা মনকে অপার্থিব মুগ্ধতায় ভরে তোলে। পাহাড়ের চূড়া থেকে ২৬৬ টি সিঁড়ি বেয়ে নীচে নেমেই সেই স্বপ্নীল গুহামুখ। হিম-শীতল হাওয়া আর পানির স্রোতের মধ্য দিয়ে অন্ধকার গুহায় মশালের আলোয় ধীর পায়ে হেঁটে যাওয়া সত্যিই রহস্যময়। বড় বড় পাথর , উঁচু নীচু পাথরের সারি, হঠাৎ করে বাদুড় আর চামচিকা এসে সামনে দিয়ে উড়ে যাওয়া - এ সবই মনে হবে কাল্পনিক, কিন্তু আসলেই সত্যি। গুহার অভ্যন্তর হতে নির্ঝরের স্বপ্নের মতো অবিরাম প্রবাহমান ঝর্নার পানি আশীর্বাদের শীতল ছোঁয়ায় অপূর্ব মাদকতা জাগিয়ে দেয়। এত বিস্ময়, এত রোমাঞ্চ দেশের আর কোথাও মনে হয় নেই। আলুটিলা সুরঙ্গের দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ২৮২ ফুট। অনবদ্য রহস্যের উৎস এ সুরঙ্গটার ভেতরটা দেখলে অবিশ্বাস্য বিস্ময়ে মন হতবাক হয়ে যায়। মনে হবে নিখুঁতভাবে ছেনি দিয়ে পাহাড় কেটে কয়েক হাজার দক্ষ কারিগর এ গুহাটি তৈরী করেছে। কিন্তু না, কোন মানুষ কারিগর নয় - স্রষ্টা নিজেই এর স্রষ্টা। গুহার ভেতরের অন্ধকারে নিজের অস্তিত্ত্বটাও হারিয়ে যায়। মশাল হাতে স্রোতের বিপরীতে যাত্রা চার্লস ডিকেন্সের কথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয়। অভিজ্ঞতার উৎকর্ষতার স্বাদ আজীবন গল্প হয়ে থাকার মতো। এমন দুর্লভ সুযোগ কি কেউ কখনো হারায় ?
