The mosque was built in 1373 during the rule of Bengal sultan Fakhruddin Mubarak Shah. This mosque is probably the oldest mosque in Comilla district. It is located in Pirojpur village, a little north of Hajiganj sub district. This historic mosque is a great archaeological site of this district.
