Haripur Zamindar Bari
Haripur Zamindar Bari is situated on the bank of Titas river at Harinber village of Haripur union, Nasirnagar upazila. This is around 15 kilometer south-east from Nasirnagar town. This 175 years old historic building is also known as Rajbari (king's palace), Boro Bari, or Zamindar Bari. It is known to be built by Zamindar (landlord) Gauri Prasad Roy Chowdhury. It is a three-storied nicely decorated building on 480 decimals of land, with two domes and around 60 bedrooms.
The decendants of the owner of this Zamindar Bari left this palace to their house priests after 1947, when the British appointed Zamindari rules abolished. The decendents of the priests still live in this place. Visitors from all across the country come here to see this historic mansion. The shooting of Humayun Ahmed's last movie Ghetu Putro Komola took place here.
